Frances Herrington

Frances Merle Herrington, 90, passed away on May 17, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. Highway 287 Business in Waxahachie.

Frances was born on October 2, 1926 in Percilla, Texas to Ollie and Eula Herrington. He worked for Vaught Companies for 39 years and loved fishing, gardening and working at the YMCA in Waxahachie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 47 years, Betty Joyce Herrington; 2 sisters, Doris Denbow and her husband, Allen, and Helen Jones and her husband, Lorenzo.

Merle leaves behind his daughter, Merlene Stiles and her husband, William; 4 step grandchildren, Julie Loosley, Jennifer Masterson, Jill Franz and William F. Stiles III; 12 step grandchildren; nephews, Jerry Denbow and Gary Schlemmer; and nieces, Glenna Working, Marsha Hildebrand and Melody Smith.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Avalon Glendora for all the loving care they provided Merle over the years.
