Mrs. Aday passed away Tuesday at Medical Center of Arlington. She was born in Clarida, Ok. to J. P., and Delilah Mae (Marshall) Ingram. She and "Burt" Aday were married June 25, 1939 in Corsicana. She was employed with Haggar Slacks in Waxahachie as Supply Clerk for 15 years. Mrs. Aday enjoyed being a mother and housewife and loved to read and cook.

Mrs. Aday is survived by her husband of 64 years, "Burton" Aday of Waxahachie; one son, Tommy Aday and his wife Stella of Red Oak; one grandson, Jeff Aday; three sisters, Geneva Smotherman of Michigan, Dorothy Critz of Arlington and Tobby DeBock of Mesquite. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PNM Wednesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Thursday, September 18, 2003 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Brown, Jackie Allen, Bruce Medlock, James Robert Brown, Bob Bigham and David Wells. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park.
