Frances D. Aday, 87 of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 in Red Oak. She was born to the late Jessie Pridgen and Fannie Gibson Pridgen on February 3, 1925 in Madison County, Texas. Frances was a member of Ferris Heights United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She was a member of the High Steppers and was a Pink Lady at Baylor Medical Center of Waxahachie. She loved to work puzzles and was an avid reader. She retired from the American National Insurance Company. Frances loved her family and all of her grandchildren so much and enjoyed spending time with them. She is survived by her sons, Joe Aday and his wife, Jackie of Waxahachie, Billy Aday and his wife, Shirley of Waxahachie; her grandchildren, Greg Aday, Robert Aday and his wife, Missy, Chris Aday and April Fadler and her husband, Randall; 2 great grandchildren, Luke Whitaker, Khloe Fadler; and another great grandson, Noah Aday, who is on the way; Frances is also survived by her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Doris and Leonard Payne of Waxahachie; her cousins, Bessie and Mac Williams of Houston; also by her nieces and nephews, Karen and David Ballard of Waxahachie, Lisa and Gerry Heine of Waxahachie, Keith Shipley of Austin and Jay West of Waxahachie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Aday; her parents, Jessie and Fannie Pridgen; her sisters, Florence Jones and Ethel Blackwell; and also by her sister-in-laws, Ann West and her husband, Bob and Jeanne Shipley and her husband, Bill. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Carol Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Those serving as pallbearers include, Robert Aday, Chris Aday, Randall Fadler, Gerry Heine, Tracy Lambert, and Keith Shipley. Those serving as honorary pallbearers include, Greg Aday Luke Whitaker and Leonard Payne. If desired, memorials may be made to the Ferris Heights United Methodist Church, 108 Center Street, Waxahachie, Texas.
