Florentino Jimenez, 66, of Red Oak, Texas, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021. Florentino was born on October 16, 1954, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México, a son of the late Rafael and Maria Guadalupe Jimenez. Florentino had a career in the Construction Industry for over 35 years before retiring. His younger years truly helped shape his values and sense of family, unselfishness, and strong work ethics. While retired Florentino had time to pursue his love of fishing. He was a devoted father, loving husband, and a best friend to everyone. Always ready to help and never had a job or situation that was too tough.
He was preceded in death by his father Rafael Jimenez, his mother Maria Guadalupe Jimenez, and his brother Ramon Jimenez. Florentino is survived by his wife Yolanda Lorraine Jimenez, two sons, Fernando, spouse of Vanessa from Ennis, Texas, Stephen, husband of Cynthia Jimenez from Granbury, Texas, and two daughters Adrianne, wife of Kendanny Quiros of Texas, and Victoria, partner of Crystal Hernandez of Dallas, Texas.
Florentino is also survived by his siblings Gabriel of Illinois, Felix of Idaho, Micaela of Mexico, Jesus of Utah, Jose of Idaho, Antonia of Washington, Olivia of Utah, and Jorge of Idaho, 8 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
