Florene T. Dean, age 94

Mrs. Dean passed away Monday at Pleasant Manor Living Center, Waxahachie. She was born in Squash Hollar (Wood County), TX. to John and Henrietta (Wilson) Tabor. Mrs. Dean attended schools in Wood County. She retired from Braniff Airlines Cargo Department in 1975 after twenty five years. Mrs. Dean enjoyed her flowers; her
family said she could stick a pencil in the ground and it would bloom. She moved to Waxahachie in 2003 to live with her daughter. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winnsboro.

Mrs. Dean is survived by: daughter, Peggy Davidson and husband Paul of Waxahachie; sister, Johnnie McCarthey of Winnsboro; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Wanda Dixon; and brothers, Milton and Marvin Tabor.

Graveside services will be 2 PM Wednesday, January 12, 2005 in the Pleasant Grove Community Cemetery in Winnsboro with grandsons officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
