Our beloved Mom and friend "Nennie" Fannie Mae Stanley, 75, joined our "Daddy Dad" Dan Stanley in heaven Friday, April 8, 2005. She was the daughter of Elmo Norris Lohr and Juanita Mae Lohr. She was born in Ennis, Texas and graduated from Waxahachie High School. She retired from Waxahachie ISD in the accounting department and Lone Star Gas Co. in Greenville. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Waxahachie Baylor Hospital and Farley Street Baptist Church. She married her high school sweetheart, Dan Stanley, June 1, 1946. He preceded her in death January 26, 2005.
Mrs. Stanley is survived by her three children: Danna Cash and husband Ken of Saint Jo, TX., Karen Denney and husband David of Murchison, TX., Paul Stanley and wife JaLonn of Trophy Club, TX.; grandchildren, Troy McGinnis and Britany, Stacy Trasancos and Jose, Tim Denney and Linette, Kenda Cash Dodson, Kevin Cash, Cherish Stanley, Ashley Jobe, Kristen and Daniel Stanley; great grandchildren, Regan Collard, Cameron and Connor Denney, Max Johnson, McKenzy Crabb, Alex Jobe, Jordan and Dyllan Fronterhouse, Abigail and Grace Transancos, and Jayden Dodson; brother, Charles Berry; sisters, Dorothy Briggs and Betty Jean Hilsher; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Sue Stanley; sisters-in-law Mary Stanley, Wanda Stanley and Lou Eva Splawn and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband.
The family will receive friends and relatives 4-6 PM Sunday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. A Celebration of her Life will be 10 AM Monday, April 11, 2005 at Farley Street Baptist Church, 111 Farley St., Waxahachie, TX. with Brother Richard Smith and Brother J. D. Courtney officiating. Pallbearers will be Tim Denney, Daniel Charles Stanley, Karl Pace, Troy McGinnis, Jose Trasancos, Mark Hilsher, Michael Hilsher, and Scott Stanley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Members of the Mixed Up Sunday School Class, Dee Chapman, Willard Gandy, Johnny Briggs and Charles Berry. Interment will follow in the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
