Evelyn Wiggins, age 82
August 18, 1922
December 8, 2004

Mrs. Wiggins, lifelong resident of Maypearl, passed away Wednesday at Baylor Medical Center Waxahachie. She was born in Grandview, TX. to George Carr and Sarah (Berry) Booher. Mrs. Wiggins graduated from Maypearl High School in 1942. She and Paul Wiggins were married July 9, 1943 in Waxahachie. She was involved with her husband's business, Wiggins Service Station in Maypearl. She wore out cars taking her sons to ballgames; was active with PTO, Maypearl Civic Center, and community activities. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Maypearl.

Mrs. Wiggins is survived by: her husband, Paul Lamar Wiggins of Maypearl; sons and their wives, Paul Dwayne and Billie Wiggins of Maypearl, and Mike and Vikki Wiggins of Midlothian; brothers, Weldon "Bub" Booher and wife Virginia of Waxahachie, Thurman Booher and wife Lillian of Lancaster; grandchildren, Karen Wiggins, Pairsh Wiggins, Brad Wiggins and Chris and Nancy Wiggins. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clifton, Elmer, Raymond and Doug.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Thursday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Friday, December 10, 2004 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Tony Sheffield and Reverend James Beam officiating. Interment will follow in Maypearl Cemetery.
