Evah Booher

Evah Margaret Booher, 92 of Waxahachie passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 in Waxahachie. She was born May 17, 1920 in Maypearl, Texas to Cleveland & Sally Kathryn Shippey Estes. Evah attended the Waxahachie Bible Church; she was longtime member of the Rebeka Lodge #381 and a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Evah worked for Southwestern Bell for many years as an office manager. She will be dearly missed by her family and everyone who knew her and loved her. She is survived by 1 Step Daughter: Sonja Small of Houston, Texas; 2 Grandchildren: Sally Jayroe and Clifton Small both of Houston, Texas. Numerous Nieces and Nephews and Sisters In Laws including Virginia Booher, Lilian Booher and Delma Booher and nieces Brenda Deyo and Lori Blevins. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifton Booher; 1 Granddaughter Cheryl Small and numerous other family members . Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Jerry Bloomfield officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park in Waxahachie. Visitation with the family will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, February 22, 2013 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
