Eula M. Boswell, age 100

Mrs. Boswell passed away Tuesday morning at Renfro Healthcare Center. She was born in Paint Rock, Texas, the fourth of eleven children, to Charles and Matilda (York) Canada. They moved to the Waxahachie area around 1912. She married Clarence Joslin and raised five children. She had been doing laundry in her home and Curry Appliances. She later married Les Boswell. Mrs. Boswell was a devoted Christian Lady; her church and family were her life. She was a longtime member of the Farley Street Baptist Church of Waxahachie.

Her survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Joyce Joslin of Hobbs, NM; daughter, Mildred Herriage of Durant, OK.; daughters-in-law, Kathryne Joslin of Arlington and Wanda Joslin of Waxahachie; sisters, Edith Keller of Whitesboro, TX., and Louise Crawford and husband Reuel of Liberty, TX.; special great niece, Cindy Howard; ten grandchildren; many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Clarence Joslin and Les Boswell, three sons, five brothers, and three sisters.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Thursday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of her Life will be 2 PM, Friday, September 14, 2007 in the Pat Boze Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Richard Smith officiating. Church Deacons will be Mrs. Boswell's pallbearers. Interment will follow in the Red Oak Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Farley Street Baptist Church Building Fund or Lighthouse Hospice.
