Etta Satterwhite

Etta Mae Satterwhite, 90 of Irving, Texas passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 in Irving, Texas. She was born on September 14, 1925 in Newark, Arkansas to the late Lacy Margie McClure Fields. Etta was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Irving, she will be dearly missed by her family and all that knew her and loved her.

She is survived four children: Mary Smith of Midlothian, Texas; Danny Barbara Satterwhite of Ferris, Texas, Brenda Danny Abbott of Chandler, Texas and Donald Satterwhite of Irving, Texas. Nine Grandchildren: Charla Harris of Red Oak, Texas, Gaylen Celeste Smith of Midlothian, Texas, Kimberly Michael Zabonik of Midlothian, Texas, James Connie Satterwhite of Red Oak, Texas, Tonya Mike Quick of Ennis, Texas, Keith Satterwhite of Red Oak, Texas, Tammie Phil McCaseland of Troup, Texas, Kerri Matt Fowler of Chandler, Texas and Shelly Villayes of Oklahoma; 21 Great Grandchildren and 12 Great Great Grandchildren; She is also survived by one sister Lois Wallace of Newport, Arkansas.

Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak, Texas. Visitation with the family is scheduled Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
