Esther Fay Carlton Poovey August 23, 1917 October 30, 2010 Esther Faye Carlton Poovey, 93, of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 at The Park in Plano, Texas where she had been a resident since January 2009. She was a life long resident of Ellis County, Longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Waxahachie and a former member of the Red Oak Baptist Church. She worked for many years at the Waxahachie Bank and Trust and later worked for Boze Mitchell Funeral Home in Waxahachie till her retirement. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Carlton Hedin of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, brother George Houston Carlton of Waxahachie, brother Marion Herbert Carlton and wife Patti of Houston, Texas; Grandchildren: Rain McDermott and husband Sean of Murphy; Andrew Reglin and wife Kate and children Rachel and Luke of Farmersville; Joshua Reglin, wife Jamie and children Grace and Claire of Tahoka; Joseph Reglin, wife Jennifer and daughter Genevieve of Cleveland, OH, former son in law John Reglin and wife Bette Carole of Plano, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Nan Poovey Reglin and Sister: Mildred Carlton Robnett. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 03, 2010 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Reglin officiating. Interment will follow at Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 02, 2010 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
