Ernest Riojas

Ernest Riojas, age 70, of Italy Texas, Passed away Friday September 8^th, 2023. Ernie was born in Pasadena, Texas on September 19^th, 1952 to Timoteo & Esther Riojas. Ernie graduated from Italy School and went to work at Owens Corning Fiberglass at 19 years old. He thrived by helping his family in any way he could.

    Ernie is preceded in death by his parents Timoteo and Esther Riojas, brother Jessie Riojas, and sisters Enedelia Jacinto and Evelia R. Pena. He is Survived by his wife Willie Marie Nelms, sister Erma and Juan Martinez of Marlin Texas, son Timoteo Riojas and Lily of Italy Texas, daughter Cindy and James Cashion of Avalon Texas and daughter Cathy and Albert Buckner of Avalon Texas. Grandchildren, Timothy Cashion of Avalon Texas, Marcos Kinser of Grand Prairie Texas, Caty Betancourt of Avalon Texas, and Tim Riojas of Italy Texas. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

    Funeral arrangements are being handled by Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Visitation will at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie Texas, September 14th,2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The Celebration of Life will be held at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie Texas, September 15^th, 2023 at 11:00am.

    Family will be gathering at 206 Giles St, First Baptist Church of Avalon Texas after the Interment. All friends and family are welcome to gather with the family.
