Ernest Eugene Girard August 14, 1928 April 09, 2011 Ernest Eugene Girard, age 82 of Waxahachie passed away April 09, 2011 in Waxahachie. He was born August 14, 1928 in Aquilla, Texas to Joe and Agnes Adams Girard. Ernest had a green thumb and loved growing and taking care of his garden, he was the caretaker for Sisters of Our Lady of Charity & Refuge in Dallas for over 50 years. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife Margaret Girard of Waxahachie; 4 sons: Ronnie & Cathy Girard of Chandler, Texas, Danny and Lorri Girard of Waxahachie, Bernie and Rochelle Girard of Waxahachie and Robert Girard of Dallas, Texas 2 Daughters: Diana & Vince Morgan of Forney, Tx., and Debbie and Keith Nielsen of Waxahachie; 1 sister: Evelyn & Ernest Bezdek of West, Tx. 19 Grandchildren: 32 Great Grandchildren: He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 Daughters: Susan Marie and Shirley Ann and 1 Grandson : Christopher Girard. A celebration of Life will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Fatima Cemetery in Abbott, Texas. There will be a time for visitation on Monday, April 11, 2011 from 6-8 PM and a Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
