Epimenio Ortiz

Epimenio Jimenez Ortiz, 65 of Waxahachie, passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 in Waxahachie. He was born on March 28, 1949 in Sinton, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Anita Ortiz; his children, Manuela Martin and her husband, Phillip, Manuel Ortiz and his wife, Kim, Virginia Hernandez and her husband, Joe and Stephen Ortiz and his wife, Angela; also by his brothers and sisters, Victor, Jose, Alfredo, Lupe and Juanita; by his grandchildren, Anthony Ceniceroz and his wife, Brandi, PFC Roman T. Clark and his fiancée, Meghan Ferriss and his youngest grandson, Noah Ortiz; he is also survived by his great granddaughter, Ariana Ceniceroz. Epimenio was preceded in death by his father and mother, Epimenio and Maria Cruz Ortiz; by his sister, Maria Padilla; also by his sister-in-law, Martina Ortiz. Those serving as pallbearers in honor of Epimenio include, David Curtis, Anthony Ceniceroz, Stephen Ortiz, Rosario Padilla, Manuel Ortiz and Juan Reyes. PFC Roman T. Clark and Noah Ortiz will be honoring Epimenio by serving as an honorary pallbearers. Services to celebrate Epimenio's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Antonio Martinez officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
