Elsie Zuraw recently passed away at Renfro Health Care Center in Waxahachie, of a prolonged illness of Alzheimer's Disease. Elsie was 94 years old. She was born, one of five siblings, to Edwin and Alma Trudgeon in Hancock, MI., where she was also raised. Elsie was married to Joseph Zuraw for 54 years. During her lifeteime Elsie was active in United Methodist Women, Eastern Star, and the Ironwood Women's Club in Ironwood, MI. Elsie was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Waxahachie, and had been since January of 1998. She was active in the Fidelis Sunday School Class of the church and an active member of the Joy Singers that sang weekly at nursing homes
in the Waxahachie area.

Mrs. Zuraw is survived by: her brother, Lloyd Albert Trudgeon of Marquette, MI.; her daughter, Marilyn E. Mitten of 3883 Turtle Creek Boulevard #1116, Dallas; and her grandson, Patrick Joseph Mitten of Bloomington, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Joseph Zuraw in 1995.

There will be a 1 PM Memorial Service for Elsie at the First United Methodist Church in Waxahachie on Saturday, August 27, 2005 .
