Elsie Willig

Elsie Maude Willig, 89 of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in Italy, Texas. She was born January 04, 1925 in Ellis County, Texas to the late Curry Walter & Lillie Pearl Cook Pitts. Elsie was a longtime member of Ferris Avenue Baptist Church and was a cashier for Motts here in Waxahachie for many years. She will be dearly missed by her family and everyone who knew her and loved her. She is survived by her Daughters & Sons in Laws: James& Linda Bell, Barbara & Rusty Pope, Donna & Steve Armstrong; 3 sons & daughters in laws: Larry & Vicki Willig and Joe and Beth Willig; and Ricky and Naring Willig; 1 sister: Gertrude Garner of Hillsboro, Texas. 17 Grandchildren: 27 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Fredrick Willig. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, May 03, 2014 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Burial Park in Waxahachie. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, May 02, 2014 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
