Elsie Brown

Elsie Fay Brown, 79, of Waxahachie passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018. She was born on May 27, 1938 in Las Cruces, New Mexico to the late Samuel J. Brown and Effie M. Trammell.

Fay never married or had children but she is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Samuel Jerry Brown and Effie May Brown; her sisters, Rachel Wallace, Inez Hill, Coy Flowers and Lucille Moss; brothers, Joe Bob Brown, Oca Brown, Floyd Brown Sr., Marvin Eugene Brown and Tommy Brown.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Masonic Cemetery in Las Cruces, New Mexico. A memorial service to celebrate Fay's life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Buffalo Creek Assisted Living Center located at 1329 Brown Street in Waxahachie.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers and staff of Buffalo Creek who cared for Fay over all the years.
