Elizabeth A. Brown February 27, 1916 June 10, 2010 Elizabeth A. Brown, 94 of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010 in Waxahachie. She was born to the late Cade and Irene Connally Adkins on February 27, 1916 in Forreston, Texas. Elizabeth loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to entertain guest and enjoyed cooking, playing bridge and 42. She was a very caring mother and was very devoted to her family. She is survived by her sons, George Ervin Brown, Jr. and his wife, Wylinda of Cedar Hill, Dale V. Brown and his wife, Kay of Mineral Wells; her daughter, Bethany Hardy and her husband, Terry of Waxahachie; her brothers, Charles Adkins and C. D. Adkins, Jr., both of Waxahachie; her sisters, Mary Alice Chaney of Arlington and Carolyn Arnold of Denton; she is also survived by her grandchildren, Chase Brown and his wife, Collyn, Bret Brown, Crystal Hardy, and Clint Brown; her great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Cade Brown; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Brown; and 6 brothers. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2010 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Anna Whitehead officiating. Interment will follow at the Forreston Cemetery in Forreston. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
