Elaine Bynum

Elaine Bynum September 18, 1929 October 10, 2011 Elaine Bynum passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10th, 2011 at the young age of 82. Elaine was born on September 18th, 1929 in New York City, New York where she also grew up and found many adventures in the Big City. Elaine was never far from her next Big Adventure. Elaine soon became a graduate of Boston University in 1953 and quickly entered the United States foreign services. With this job she knew she would be able to travel the world. And in that time of service she was honored more times than can be counted. Elaine retired in 1981 and started making her way to Waxahachie, Tx. Joe and their two English Mastiff, show dogs were right by her side as she found this new "home". A cancer survivor and avid dog lover, Elaine was an inspiration to all who knew her. As a faithful member of Sardis United Methodist Church, she is survived by many loving friends including her cousin Bert Kramer and a second cousin Rachel Kramer. Elaine leaves behind loving friends from Sea to Sea. She was preceded in death was her beloved husband Joe Bynum in 1982. She is now joined with her husband and our Savior Jesus Christ. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6PM to 8PM on Thursday October 13th, 2011 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W. HWY 287 Business, Waxahachie, TX 75165. Services to celebrate her life will be held at 2 PM on Friday, October 14th 2011 at the Sardis United Methodist Church, 640 Sardis Road, Sardis, TX 76065.
