Mr. Albertini passed away Tuesday at his Waxahachie residence. He was born in Chicago, IL. to Guido and Ester (Pellegrini) Albertini. He graduated from Lane Tech High School in Chicago, and attended Perdue and Illinois Tech. Ed then entered the US Army Air Corp during WWII, serving with the Air Force and Radio crewman in Pacific Theatre. He married Nanette DeLuca August 24, 1946 in Chicago. They moved to Waxahachie 1952-1960 working with the Woman's Clothing Manufacturing, Ennis Business Forms and Fine Line Ribbon. He spent most of his retirement in Rockwall and Cedar Creek, moving back to Waxahachie in 2002. Mr. Albertini was mechanically inclined and was an avid fisherman. He was a member of the American Legion and the St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Mr. Albertini is survived by: his wife, Nanette DeLuca Albertini of Waxahachie; son, Rae Edward Albertini and wife Debra of South Lake; daughters, Claudette Allen and husband Clifford of Ennis, Jody Radney and Gary of Waxahachie; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5-9 PM Thursday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Mass will be 9:30 AM Friday, January 18, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Michael Guadagnoli Celebrant. Pallbearers will be Scott Allen, Luke Radney, Nick Albertini, Paul Dyer, James Ritchey and Roger French, Jr.. Interment will follow in the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas at noon.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
