Mrs. Parrish passed away early Monday morning at Renfro Care Center.
Mrs. Parish was born in Sardis, Texas to JM and Mattie L (Threadgill) Flowers. She graduated from Waxahachie High School and married Raymond W Parrish, June 29, 1938 in Glen Rose, Texas. Mrs. Parrish was employed as a secretary for General Dynamics for 25 years before retirement. She was a longtime member of the Farley Street Baptist Church of Waxahachie.

She is survived by: one brother Troy Flowers and his wife Helen, special niece Carolyn Strength and her husband Darrell, 2 great nieces Tina Cobb and Amy Strength all of Waxahachie and a great nephew Michael Strength and his wife Jessica of Arlington, Tx. Also surviving are 3 great great nieces; Jordan, Taylor, Bailey, and 1 great great nephew Caleb.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband in 2004.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday evening at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Thursday, April 24, 2008 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Brother Richard Smith officiating. Entombment will follow at the Greenwood Mausoleum in Fort Worth.

The family request that memorials be made to the Farley Street Baptist Church Building Fund.
