Eddie Roe

Eddie Lee Roe, 80 of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 in Waxahachie. He was born to the late Ewell and Jewell Kelley Roe on April 30, 1932 in Waxahachie. Ed enjoyed being involved with the Senior Citizens Center of Waxahachie, helping cook and participating in events there. He loved to fish and spend time with his friends and family. Ed was a member of the Woodman of the World and the First United Methodist Church of Waxahachie. He is survived by his nieces, Vicki Graham and her husband, Toby Druin, of Waxahachie, Denise Stembridge and her husband, Jack of Waxahachie and Valerie Lopez and her husband, Tony of Monterey, CA. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Ewell and Jewell Kelley Roe; his brother, Miles T. Roe; and also by his sister, Nita Fallis. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Sardis Cemetery with Gregg Burdette officiating. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 and will last until service time.
