Earnestine Steele

Earnestine "Tiny" Steele, 82 of Waxahachie, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Jack Rubin and Stella Alma Ruble Steele on June 15, 1930 in Waxahachie. Tiny loved shopping and going to garage sales. She loved people and was always on the go. She loved simple things, such as drinking her coffee out of her white porcelain cup and her collection of roosters. She always found the best in others, never being judgmental of anyone. Most of all, she loved her family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her happiest times were spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Brenda Price and her husband, Kenny, Patricia Calder, Sharon Potter and her husband, Randall, Billy Whitt, Jr. and his wife, Tammy; her sisters, Ruth Beckham and Deborah Benner; her brothers, Daniel Steele, J. B. Steele and Johnny Steele; 20 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alma Jo Clark; her sisters, Barbara Steele and Rita Steele; her brothers, James Steele and Bobby Steele; and also by her parents, Jack Rubin and Stella Alma Steele. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Waxahachie City Cemetery with Bro. Frank Escamilla officiating.
