On Monday, January 30, 2023, Earnest Gary (Bud) Seamon, loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away at age 72.

Bud was born on June 4, 1950 in Alabama to the late David Edward and Frances “Boots” Seamon.  On January 8, 1972, he married Susan Ann Cargill of Prattville, Alabama.  They were married for 51 years and created a lifetime of memories together.

Bud was a huge Alabama football fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher, sister, Pat Baker, and brothers Danny, Harold, and Shon Seamon.  He is survived by his wife, Susan; his son, Kenneth, his two daughters, Nicole (Jim Taylor) and Lori (John Perkins) and Chris’s Fiancée Shaletia Jones; 12 grandchildren, Jonathon Woodard, Aaron Woodard, Shawn Stroud, Brenton Chance, Kyler Stepchinski, Hunter Coy, Emma Perkins, Dakota Seamon, Brianna Seamon, Deven Seamon, Cali Seamon, Imari Jones and 4 great-grandchildren; Jacob, Delilah, Veda, and Hayden.
