Duane Matthew Siple, age 51, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022. Duane was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend to many. He lived life with an example of kindness and playfulness.

Duane was a graduate of Denton High School, class of 1989, and went on to achieve a Bachelors in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX (1997) and a Master of Divinity from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma (2009.) Duane also gave four years of service to the U.S. Army in defense of our country where he achieved many medals while serving honorably including Expert Rifle and Pistol.

Duane was a member of Trinity Church of Cedar Hill. His life was founded on his faith in God and helping others. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hobbies that kept his hands busy, and practicing his skills at the gun range. His wife and kids knew his genuine intent to demonstrate love, care, and service to others. At times, he was found expressing playfulness to create a smile or having passionate discussions of societal and worldwide views.

Duane was preceded in death by mother, Maren Trendtel, father, William Harold Siple, and sister, Corrina Goris. He leaves behind his wife, Kristy Siple; son, David Siple; daughter, Amanda Siple; brothers, Luc Siple, Thomas Siple, Alanka Goris, Nic Goris; and half sister Sabrina Boyd Carroll.
