Duane Chaffee

Duane Chaffee, age 79

Mr. Chaffee passed away Thursday afternoon at his Red Oak residence. He was born in Viroqua, WI. To Ara and Helen (Holte) Chaffee. He was a Design Engineer for Los Alamos National Lab, New Mexico, for twenty years. Mr. Chaffee was a paratrooper for the US Army. He had lived in Ellis County for twenty years, moving from Wisconsin. Mr. Chaffee was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church.

His survivors include: his wife, Jerelene Chaffee; two daughters; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be Tuesday, 11 AM, January 17, 2006 at the Waxahachie Civic Center with Pastor Fink officiating.
