Doyle Fitzgerald

Doyle Calvin Fitzgerald, 68, passed away at his home on December 14, 2016 in Red Oak. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, located at 1826 W. Highway 287 Business in Waxahachie. A private graveside service will be held for the immediate family only at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Louise (Clay) Fitzgerald; brother, G.W. Fitzgerald; and parents in-law, Truman and Madelle Smith.

Doyle is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cindy Fitzgerald; children, R.J. Fitzgerald and his wife, Lauren, Cary D. Fitzgerald and his wife, Stephanie, and Amanda L. Fitzgerald; and grandchildren, Andrew W. Fitzgerald and Robert A. Fitzgerald.

We're not asking for flowers. Daddy hated flowers. Instead, we'd just like for everyone to take a moment, pick up the phone, call someone you care about, and tell them you love them. Because no matter how many times you get to say it to someone, you always want one more opportunity.
