Douglas Wayne Medlock, Jr., lifelong Ellis County resident, passed away at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie Wednesday afternoon. He was born in Monahans, TX. to Douglas Wayne and Christine (Eudy) Medlock. Doug was raised in Waxahachie and graduated from the Waxahachie High School Class of 1972.
He was a telemarketer for Circulation Three and a member of the Harvest Baptist Church of Waxahachie.

His survivors include: parents, Douglas Wayne, Sr. and Christine Eudy Medlock of Waxahachie; sons and daughter-in-law, Ryan Christopher and Jennifer Medlock of Lake Tawakoni, Douglas Wayne (Trey) Medlock III of Waxahachie; brother and sister-in-law, John Michael (Buz) and Mary Jane Medlock of Waxahachie; grandchildren, Bailey Lane and Dawson Medlock; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Friday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of his Life will be 2 PM Saturday, April 29, 2006 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Lee Payne and Paul Shearin officiating. Interment will follow in the Forreston Cemetery.
