Mrs. Watson passed away Tuesday afternoon at Huguley Hospital in Burleson. She was born in Ben Wheeler, TX. to Albert Lee and Georgie Madora (Garner) Richards. Dorothy married Bobby K. Watson August 31, 1962 in Alvarado, TX. She worked for Pearman Oil Company for over twenty years. Mrs. Watson was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Midlothian, TX.

She is survived by: her husband of 43 years, Bobby K. Watson of Joshua; three sons, David Watson and wife Kelly of Alabama, Keith and Andrea Watson of Hico, TX. And Shannon Watson of Lewisville; two daughters, Melissa Watson of Joshua and Sonya Ward of Cleburne; sister, Linda Shelton of West; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Friday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Saturday, June 12, 2004 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Roy Brashear officiating. Pallbearers will be Terry Richards, Dwayne Reed, Wesley Gatlin, Rick Brown, David Greeson and Charles Richards, Jr. Interment will follow in Venus Cemetery.
