Dorothy Darleen Hurst

Dorothy Darleen (Granny) Hurst was born October 31, 1927. She was 89 years old and resided in Rockett, TX. She departed this earth for her heavenly home on May 12, 2017. Granny was a Follower-of-Jesus and a member of Rockett Baptist Church.

She is survived by son, Stephen M. and Rhonda Hurst of Palmer, TX. Grandchildren, Frank A. Camp IV of California, Benjamin M. Hurst and wife Stacie of League City, TX, Lindsay D. Kutac and husband Dave of New Braunfels, TX and Matthew M. Hurst of Waxahachie, TX. Great Grandchildren, Tara Camp, Hamilton, Abigail, Scarlett and Virginia Hurst and Cade and Emma Kutac. Brother-in-Laws, Don D. Hurst of Greenville, TX and Tommy L. Mohundro on Bristol, TX. A number of nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.

She is predeceased in death by her husband, Billy M. Hurst, daughter, Sherrye D. Banks, parents, Benjamin F. and Kathleen E. Coffey, brothers Oran E. Coffey and Vernon G. Coffey.
Visitation will be held at Wayne Boze Funeral Home from Noon to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM at same location. Wayne Boze Funeral Home is located at 1826 W. Hwy 287 Business, Waxahachie, TX, 75165 and the phone number is (972) 923-2700. Interment to follow at Bells Chapel Cemetery in Red Oak.
