Dorothea Peacock

Dorothea Gail McKenzie Peacock passed away September 2, 2011 after a hard fought illness. She was born August 21, 1939 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Kenneth Lee McKenzie & Dorothea Lenore Jackson McKenzie. Gail "Nana" was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She is preceeded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Henry Howard Peacock, her 3 daughters and son-in-laws, Missy and Shawn Cullum, Barbara and Jon Grindstaff and Cyndi and Kenneth Kelley. Nana had 8 grandchildren, Michael and wife Jessica Peacock, Justin Cullum, Ashleigh and husband Russell Steele, Jr, Gene and Jeffrey Yates, Allison Grindstaff, Kenneth Jr and Kimberly Kelley, 5 great-grandchildren, Hunter, Daniel, Timothy, Kayleigh and Lilah. She was going to be blessed with 2 more great-grandchildren in September & October - Ashton and Bailey. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2011, 2pm at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W. Highway 287 Business, Waxahachie, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G.
