Doris Marie Ladd

Doris Ladd, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 22, 2025. She was 80 years old. 

Doris was born in McMinnville, Tennessee on June 24, 1944, to the late Edd H. and Ella Geneva Ladd. She was also preceded in death by her much-loved brother Doug. 

Doris was the loving mother to Dianna Drew and her husband Kendall, Dana Baker, and Donna Jahn and her husband Randy. She was the proud grandmother to Kendall Lee Drew and his wife Samantha, Lindsay Drew, Hamilton Drew, Allister Drew, Christopher Drew and his wife Tiffany, Courtney Bowen and her husband Geoff, Baylee Farris, Ashley Steele, and her wife Amber, Angela Jahn, and Amanda Chaffin. Doris was a devoted great-grandmother to Jaden, Brayden, Montgomery, Briggs, Joe, Hayleigh, Rebecca, Conner, Caitlin, Taylor, and Lyla, all of whom were a constant source of joy in her life. 

Her former Husband James T. Baker remained close to her. 

Known for her kindness, generosity, humor, and deep love for her family, Doris touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a woman whose giving spirit never knew bounds, and her laughter and warmth will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of being in her presence. 

Doris’s legacy of love, compassion, and humor will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
