Doris Kvale

Doris Lee Kvale, 88, of Bardwell Texas, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 6th, 2022. She was surrounded by loved ones, after living a long adventure filled life.

Doris Lee Clevenger was born on October 7, 1933 to Lee and Jerry Clevenger in Dallas, Texas. Upon graduating from Waxahachie High School Doris married Jimmy Beck. Doris and Jimmy worked and owned a sewing factory in the heart of Waxahachie for over 20 years. Doris was passionate about sewing, and most of all her family.

Later in life, Doris married Ed Kvale after both losing their spouses. Doris and Ed spent the remainder of Doris’ years on earth living it to the fullest. She loved traveling, dancing, and spending time with loved ones.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Jerry Clevenger, her husband Jimmy Beck Sr., husband Joe Lane, and son Jimmy Beck Jr. Doris is survived by her loving husband Ed Kvale, daughter Cindy Buchanan and husband Steve, son Gerald Beck and wife Natalie, sister Deloris Hodge, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Services will be held at Wayne Boze Funeral home on Thursday, June 9, 2022 with visitation from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, and Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Stephen Buchanan, Jason Buchanan, Bentley Beck, Taylor Beck, Brad Fuller, Jason Midkiff, Reggie Jonaitis, and Ry Mosser.
