Donnie Lynn Vantreese, age 57
August 30, 1946
December 19, 2003

Mr. Vantreese passed away Friday morning at Village Oaks Assisted Living Center in Farmers Branch. He was born in Waxahachie to Donnie Prichard and Ruth (Ford) Vantreese. Mr. Vantreese attended Waxahachie schools until the mid 60é�'s when they moved to Dallas. He graduated from Crozier Tech High School and was employed with Sears until 1994. For the last 9 years, he was employed with Carnival Grocery. Mr. Vantreese was an avid Cowboy fan and was a twenty seven year season ticket holder. He loved all sports and was a great uncle and brother. His family said that he never had a complaint.

Mr. Vantreese is survived by: one brother, John L. Vantreese of Ennis; one sister, Sharon Werner of Carrollton; nieces Stephanie, Kendall and Jordan Werner; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Saturday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Sunday, December 21, 2003 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend David Brown officiating.
Pallbearers will be Steve Coffey, Barry Coffey, David Vantreese, Blaine Smith, Dwayne Vantreese and Ren Vantreese. Interment will follow in the Waxahachie City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the UTSW Medical Center, Dallas, TX.
