Donnie was a great man, wonderful friend and Life Teacher to many kids of Ellis County. He had a strong stern voice and a whistle that would grab you from across the pasture or show barn. He always had an extended hand to pick you up when you tripped, fell or got bucked off. A heart felt hug that could solve just about any problem. He was like a walking encyclopedia, he always knew the answer. He will be missed by so many.
