Dolores Born

Dolores Jean Born, 80, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in Mansfield, TX. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church located at 201 N. Mount Street, Fairfield, TX 75840. Visitation will be held prior to services at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday. Graveside services will follow at Lakeview Cemetery on Saturday, July 15th at 5:00 PM in Waxahachie.

Jean was born on July 20, 1936 in Mexia, Texas to Thomas and Bea Hathaway. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Kenneth Born.

Survivors include her children, Kim Born of Arlington, TX and David Born and his wife, DiAnna Vela, of Rosenberg, TX; grandchildren, Ty Born and Meredith Born, both of College Station, TX; great grandson, Wyatt Born of Brenham, TX; brother, Jerry Hathaway and his wife, Valaree, of Mexia, TX; and sister in-law, Pat Born of Waxahachie, TX;
