Doil Mcanally, Sr.

Doil Ray McAnally, 81 of Venus, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at his residence. He was born on August 6, 1934 in Jacksboro, Texas to David McAnally, and Annie McAnally-Sidwell.
Doil was a great man, to his family, friends, and even complete strangers that just met him. He lived, laughed and loved those around him and taught everyone how to be brave, stand tall, to be a gentleman/lady, and do what is right. His parting is a great loss to all those around him. "Grandpa, thank you for all the summers, vacations, and time you spent with us, guiding us, and being there for us!"
He is survived by his grandsons, Allen, and his wife Karlie, Stallings of Midlothian, Joseph, and his wife Leona, Stallings of Venus, his grand daughter, Shannon Hedden of Ft. Worth, and his great grandchildren, Quinlyn Stallings, Rein Stallings, Link Stallings, Madison Wilson, Makaylay Moore, Dalton Moore, Makenzie Moore, Zoe Hendrix, and Hailey Hendrix.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Annie McAnally; his wife, Jimmie McAnally; his sisters, Izella Wolfe and Ann Reid; his children, Diane Stallings and Doil McAnally Jr.; and by his great granddaughter, Nevaeh Stallings.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Services to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27th in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
