DINA ANN SMITH Dina Ann Smith of Waxahachie, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in Waxahachie at her residence. She was born on February 20, 1977 in Houston, Texas. Dina was a Christian and gave her heart to Jesus when she was 11 years old while attending a Christian Summer Camp. She had a heart the size of Texas and she always loved people, animals and kids. If you asked her who her best friend was she would readily tell you that it was her mother, though she had many other friends. She was loved everywhere she went and her neighbors spoke of how Dina was always there for others, wanting to lend a helping hand and was known for giving everyone transportation to wherever they needed it. She was always there for the underdog and the elderly. We will miss her, but we are comforted knowing that we will see her again. So, it's not goodbye, it's we'll see you later. She is survived by her children, Austin, Gregory and Haley; her mom, Penny Elaine Henson; her step father, Gregory Lamar Henson; her sister and brother in law, Samantha and Cody Spurgin; her father, David Boruk; her stepmother, Carol Lee Boruk; her stepsister, Stephanie Ann Richards; her stepbrother, Matthew Lynn Sandel; her grandparents, James and LaVonne Boruk; her uncles, Alvin Boruk and Tommy Boruk. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Shirley Kahley; her aunt, Cyndi Buescher; and also by her uncle, Paul Allen Kahley, Jr. A memorial service will be held along with a visitation for family and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Pastor Lloyd Lane officiating. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com
