DeWayne Hickman, 50 of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2008 in Waxahachie. He was born to the late Billy R. & Eula E. Pruitt Hickman on October 8, 1958 in Waxahachie.
DeWayne was a kid at heart. He loved big and he played big. DeWayne never met a stranger and truly loved life. He was known for working on everyone's lawn mowers, go-carts and motorcylces, which he loved doing so much. He will be missed by his family and lots of friends.
He is survived by his sister, Sheila Blalack and her husband, Ken of Waxahachie; his niece, Emily Blalack of Waxahachie; his aunt, Lula Terry and her husband, Buck of Waxahachie; and his cousin, Candice Terry of Waxahachie; and numerous other cousins and many friends.
Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12 Noon until service time on Wednesday at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
