Devrah Woznuck "Debbie" Thaten, 58 of Waxahachie, passed away suddenly, Thursday, December 10, 2009 in Waxahachie. She was born to Lee and Lois Gates Franklin on February 1, 1951 in Mineral Wells, Texas.
Debbie loved the simple things in life. Getting up each morning and watching the sun rise would make her happy. She loved people and everyone loved her. Debbie never met a stranger and she has so many friends to show for it. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She was a great Mom, and a great friend to everyone she met. Debbie will truly be missed by so many who will continually love her.
She is survived by her son, John Jason Woznuck of Midlothian; her daughter, Jamie Leigh Woznuck of Arlington; her sister, Sandy Covey and her husband, Larry of New Braunfels; and by her brother, Tony Franklin of Dallas.
Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
