Mrs. Moore passed away peacefully at her residence in the presence of her family Saturday afternoon.
Mrs. Moore was born in Jamacia, West Indies to Ira W and Ruth (Robinson) Spaulding. She was a 1963 graduate of John Adams High School in Queens, NY and received her Bachelors of Science Degree from St.John's University. She married Charles Joseph Moore Jr. April 7, 1968 in Queens, New York. Her nursing career spanned 42 years with her retirement as a Nurse Surveyor with the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Service in Arlington, Texas. She was a member of the Church of God Evangelistic in Waxahachie.

She is survived by her husband Charles J Moore Jr. of Waxahachie, 1 daughter Celeste K Nesbitt and her husband Terrence of St. Petersburg, Florida, 1 son Jared D Moore and his wife Crystal of Waxahachie and their son Donavon I Moore, 1 sister Carrol R Carr and her husband Eugene of Ennis, and 1 brother Ira W Spaulding of the Netherlands.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 7 to 9 PM Wednesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be at 12 Noon Thursday, July 26, 2007 at the Church of God Evangelistic with Pastor David Smith Officiating. Interment will follow at the DFW National Cemetery. The family request that Memorials be made in Deta's memory to the Church of God Evangelistic.
Pallbearers will be: Ira W Spaulding, Jared D Moore, Terrence Nesbitt, Eugene Carr, Alexey Sevostiyanov, and Ziggy Eichhorst.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
