Destiny Marin Zarazua was born on February 27, 2007 in Dallas, Texas and passed away unexpectedly on August 10, 2020 in Dallas Children’s Hospital.
Destiny went to Travis Middle School in Irving, Texas where she was to attend her 8th grade middle school class. Destiny was always full of life by always approaching anybody with a hug and sociable by asking where their shoes and clothes were from. Destiny enjoyed going on long walks with any of her daytime nurses, swinging on the swing in the back porch with her iPad playing songs and videos while also dancing and singing to her favorite artists, and making people laugh. She competed in school marathons when she could and was the perfect food critic. She would try anything once and never said no to a vegetable. She always felt like a grown lady by always wanting to dress up and be girly, have the adult menu, and always said no to kids’ cups! She will always be remembered as a hugger because no one could resist her tight hugs.
Destiny is preceded in death by her father Miguel Arciba. She is survived by her mother, Luz Zarazua; sisters, Margaret Rocha, Melissa Martinez, Kris Maria Montoya, Jennifer Valle, Cindy Valle; brothers Miguel Arciba Jr., David Arciba, Micah Arciba; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
