Mr. Maberry passed away Friday, February 27, 2009. He was born in Alvarado, Texas to John and Opal Maberry.

Derrell graduated from Texas Wesleyan University in 1951. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Waxahachie and loved his Sunday School Class.

He is survived by his loving wife Molly, one sister, Beth Brandon and husband Roy John of Alvarado, Texas; two brothers, Billy Jack and wife Mozell of Granbury, Texas and Claude of Burleson, Texas; his son, Greg Maberry of Glenn Heights, Texas and his daughter, Kelly Nealy of Coppell, Texas. Also surviving is a step-son Jerry Pierce and wife Becky of Waxahachie, Texas; step-daughter, Sherry DeLuna and husband Ernest; seven grandchildren, Jordan, Brett, Austin, Angie, Eric, Caitlin and Calli; one Great Grandson, Luke.

Mr. Maberry was preceded in death by his parents John and Opal Maberry, his brothers J.W., Myrl and Bobby Ray Maberry.

The family wishes to thank the many friends and family that have supported and loved Derrell throughout the years.

Services will be Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie, Texas with Reverend Jerry Galloway officiating.
Interment will be 3 PM Friday at the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas.

Memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Waxahachie.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
