Born October 10, 1939 in Dallas, TX., Dennis was a loving devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joan West Morton; his adoring daughter, Anne-Marie Morton Scott; son-in-law, Anthony Keith Scott; grandson, Casey James Scott; mother, Reva Johnson Butler; one sister, Laura Butler Bailey; as well as his mother-in-law, Norene West; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, T. D. Butler; sisters, Rita Butler York, Sherry Butler, Fern Butler Lackey; and brother, Dwight Butler.
