Dennis Harold Boldt was born on February 7, 1942 in Buffalo, New York. He married Jean E. Lasch on July 20th 1968. Dennis went to his heavenly home on February 21, 2019.
Dennis earned his Bachelor of Science degree in education from Concordia College, River Forest, Illinois in 1964. This education named him a commissioned minister in the teaching ministry of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. He went on to earn two Masters of Science degrees, one in education and one in administration He served as an educator at St. Johns Hamlin, New York and St. Johns LaGrange, Illinois. He then became the administrator at Niagara Lutheran Junior/Senior High School. His career continued at Lutheran High West in Detroit Michigan. Dennis received and accepted a call to Trinity Lutheran School in West Seneca, New York in 1984. Cross of Christ Lutheran School in Desoto, Texas offered him a call in 1997 and he served here until his initial retirement. After a few years, he agreed to become a consultant at Holy Cross in Dallas, Texas. He finally retired after the 2010-2011 school year. He faithfully served the Lord’s calling in many capacities for almost 50 years.
Dennis is survived by his three children: Tim and (Amy) Boldt of Midlothian, Valerie and (Rob) Scheffert of Ohio, and Cindy and (Brian) Serrano of Midlothian; six grandchildren: Josh and Zoe Boldt, Lydia Babcock, and Maddie, Faith and Nate Serrano; four step-grandchildren: Brad and (Hayley) Babcok, Ryan Babcock, Jordan and Rory Scheffert; and one step great granddaughter: Delilah. He is also servived by his sister Vera Piper.
Dennis is preceded in death by his wife Jean (Lasch) Boldt, twin sister Celestine (infant), brother Carl (infant) and parents Harold and Lydia Boldt.
A celebration of Dennis’s life will be held at 11 o’clock in the morning Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Waxahachie.
Friends and family are invited for a time of visitation Monday, February 25, 2019 from 6 to 8 in the evening at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
Additionaly friends and family are invited to visit with the family Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 3 to 8 at Sieck, Mast & Leslie Funeral Home, 250 Orchard Park Road

Services celebrating Dennis's life will be held Monday, March 4, 2019 at 11 o'clock in the morning at Trinity Lutheran Church And School, 146 Reserve Rd, West Seneca, NY 14224 with burial to follow.
