Delphine Paul Seefeldt, age 86

Mr. Del Seefeldt passed away Thursday at his Waxahachie residence. He was born in Fairbanks, WI. to Paul William and Florence (Alft) Seefeldt. Mr. Seefeldt was a past member of the Masonic Lodge and was a former Police Commissioner in Thief River Falls, MN. He spent his career of 37 years as a general manager of a fuel oil and propane company. In addition, during WWII, he served as a ship builder in Bremerton, WA. He was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church, Cedar Hill, TX.

His survivors include: his wife, Gerry Seefeldt of Waxahachie; son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Charlotte Seefeldt of Atlanta, GA.; daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Rob Rolland of San Clemente, CA.; brother, Richard Seefeldt of Wittenburg, WI.; sisters, Marjorie Beckwith of Appleton, WI., Elaine Kruger of Eland, WI, and Diane Ploeger of Wassau, WI.; grandchildren, Derek and Nathaniel Seefeldt and Keaton Rolland. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris; daughter, Doreen; parents; sister, Grace Mathie; and brother, Ray Seefeldt.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Sunday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Monday, January 23, 2006 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Joel Berthelsen officiating. Pallbearers will be Derek Seefeldt, Rob Rolland, Gregory Misenhimer, Bert Torres, Trey Knox and Brian Alvey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Brown, Marvin Borders and Dean Gray. Interment will follow in the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
