Debra Watkins

Debra Sue Watkins, age 66, went to her heavenly home peacefully on February 11, 2023. She was born on June 27, 1956 in Waxahachie, Texas to George G.W. Calhoun and Suellen (Wise-Lewis). Debra was the mother and a grandmother. She always provided support and love for her family. Anyone who knew her knew she would proudly boast about all of her children and grandchildren.

Debra was a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others. She worked many years in home health and enjoyed being able to help those in need. Debra was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, church, and her family. Now if you knew her at all you never had to guess what she was thinking because she would tell you.

Debra is preceded in death by her parents, G.W. and Suellen. Debra is survived by her three siblings; her brother Charlie Calhoun and wife Debra of Waxahachie; her sister Rhonda Pearman of Derby, Kansas;  her sister Faye Murray and husband Eric of Derby, Kansas; her daughter Brandi Hanzelka of Goldsboro, North Carolina; her daughter Ashley Watkins of Waxahachie; her son Justin Watkins and his wife Cheyanne of Waxahachie; her 9 grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
