Deborah Sue Stiles

March 3, 1952 — December 24, 2024

Midlothian

Deborah Stiles was taken home by the Lord on December 24, 2024, at the age of 72. She passed peacefully with family by her side. She was born March 3, 1952, to Art and Edith Stiles.

Debbie graduated from Lewisville high school and was a part of the Lewisville Fighting Farmers drill team. She spent most of her career in the printing business working for Zales Printing, Frantz Printing, and the Odee Company. Debbie enjoyed being outside and keeping it simple. Sitting on the back porch of her mother’s house cooking hamburgers and having a cold drink was one of her favorite things to do. Her favorite outdoor activity was fishing. She owned her own Skeeter bass boat and was a member of the Irving Bass Club for many years. In 1984 the Lord blessed her with a child, Jeremy. Debbie pointed her full attention on his life and raising him. She raised him as a single Mom and though she struggled you would have never known it. She was a strong, independent woman, and the most loving Mom. She taught Jeremy how to play in the dirt with trucks, go camping, build a fort, catch a bass, and many more things that a little boy needs to know how to do. They were a team. She became home room Mom in his grade school, helped with his school events, and was at EVERY football game to cheer him on. She cared for those around her and would help anyone if she was able. She had the gift of hospitality and would open her home to those in need for short or long stays and Christmas Eve gatherings. She loved seeing her two grand children Andi and Silas. She enjoyed just watching them play and run around.

The family would like to give a wholehearted thank you to Midtown Meadows and Trinity Hospice that took very special care of Debbie at the end of her life. I won’t forget it - Jeremy

She is preceded in death by her mother Edith, father Art, stepfather Ray, and her niece Lisa. She is survived by her son, Jeremy Stiles, and his wife, Heather; her sisters, Brenda, Sherry, and Lori; her nieces, Casey, Christi, Amy, and Jenna; her nephews, Brennan and Jeff; and her grandchildren, Andi and Silas.
