David Lee Yeaman, 60 of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2008 at his residence. He was born to the late Charles and Nancy Yeaman on November 24, 1947 in Maryville, TN.
David loved to fish, hunt and ride his motorcycle. He enjoyed working on his John Deere Tractor and having family cook outs. Every chance he could David loved spending time on the Brazos River with friends. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. David was veteran of the United States Army and was a self employed Welder. He will be missed by so many who knew him and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Annes Yeaman of Waxahachie; his children, Tina Yeaman of Louisville, KY, John Yeaman of Maryville, TN, Chimene Williams of Waxahachie, Charles Nelson and his wife, Diane of Canton; his sisters, Jennie Bennett and her husband, Rusty of Holly Hills, FL, Betty Sharpe and her husband, Jeff, of Daytona Beach, FL, Glenda Ward of Maryville, TN; and by his beloved grandchildren, Justin Yeaman, Koltin Williams, Henry Williams, Lindsey Nelson, Chelsea Nelson, Abby Nelson, C. J. Nelson, Brandon Yeaman, Katon Summerville, Jordan Faris, Mariah White, Melissa Williams; as well as other family members and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Charles Yeaman, Jr.; a very special uncle, James Reagan; and his father and mother-in-law, Tom & Dolly Stanford.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Betty Stokes officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
Family request donations to the American Heart Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
