David William Messer

Dave, *AKA* Big Dave left this world to be with our Heavenly Father on the afternoon of Saturday, July 15, 2023. Dave was just 38 years young. Unfortunately, Dave left this place not knowing just how much he was truly loved. Dave was a regional manager at Amiri Towing, where he worked very hard to provide for his family. When he actually had time to spare he would spend every moment cleaning and spending time with family and friends especially his children.  Anyone who knew Dave knew he loved to BBQ, have outings and/or partake in outings with family and friends. Christmas was his favorite time of year. He loved to eat at Red Robin, game nights that we all cheated at, going to the lake, joking around, and talking your butt off.  Dave was an amazing father. He loved his children passionately and did everything in his power to take care of them.

Dave was preceded in death by sister: Alisha M. Messer

Step mom: Maxine L. Messer

Sister: Crystal D. Johnson and Brother in law Quincy L. Johnson SR with nephew, Quincy L. Johnson Jr. And niece, Jaya C. Johnson

Brothers: Matthew P. Messer, Amelia K. Valles, and niece, Mia T. Messer

Joshua L. Messer

Best friend and mother of his three youngest children: Katelyn S. Evans

David Gunner Messer

Best friend, brother, uncle, dad-Tracy L. Messer along with a slew of other family and friends.

Dave, you will be missed immensely. We love you so much! Fly high my big, little bro.

Services will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 3 pm at the Wayne Boze Funeral home in Waxahachie Tx. Please wear your jeans and boots or tennis shoes, be comfy, no dress attire. We will have a celebration of life immediately after at Aunt Terries at 201 Joseph Drive Red Oak Texas.

Dave left behind three children with their mother so donations will be accepted to get school clothes and supplies and everyday items. Please see Crystal Johnson
